Planning & Zoning

The Zoning Administrator regulates and interprets the Marblehead Zoning Ordinance for the incorporated areas of the Village including the location, size, height and use of buildings. The Zoning Ordinance provides a number of districts to provide for the health, safety and economic stabilization of the Village and its residents, and prescribes penalties and procedures for the enforcement of the Ordinance. Zoning hearings are conducted on an as-needed basis and are advertised in advance.
