Village of Marblehead's zoning regulations establish a number of districts to provide for the health, safety and economic stabilization of the Village and its residents and prescribes penalties and procedures for the enforcement of the zoning ordinance.
All of the Village's codified ordinances concerning planning and zoning matters are found in Title XV: Land Usage. Under that heading, are separate sections covering the topics of Flood Damage Reduction, Waterfront Plan, Trailers, Housetrailer Parks and Camps, Subdivisions, and Zoning. The zoning section describes the requirements for each of the zoning districts such as permissible land uses, lot size, yard setbacks, and the location, size, height and use of buildings.
These regulations pertain only to areas within the incorporated boundaries of the Village of Marblehead. The jurisdiction of a particular land parcel can be ascertained via the Ottawa County Auditor's website.
Refer to the Village's zoning map to see where the zoning districts are located.
