Starting in April 2025, Marblehead's drinking water is supplied by the Ottawa County regional system. The Village's water plant is no longer producing water. For the time being, the Village is responsible for the water distribution system (i.e. water mains, meters, etc.). However, a transition process is underway by which responsibility for the distribution system will eventually be transferred to the county. Here's more information about this transition.
