Planning Commission Functions

• Regulates and promotes the proper arrangement of streets and lots

• Plans for safe vehicular traffic including access for emergencies

• Plans for recreation and other open areas including public facilities

• Assures the orderly development of land to achieve a harmonious and stable community including provision for water, sewer and other health facilities

• Coordinates land use and development in accordance with the Marblehead Zoning Ordinance and the Marblehead Subdivision Regulations


Meetings

Regular meetings of the Planning Commission are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6 pm in the Municipal Services Building at 517 W. Main Street.
